Description: IT Business Analyst required for leading company based in Dublin city centre.

Enterprise People are currently seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our client’s existing solutions team on a range of web and mainframe projects in a financial services environment. As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements and creating detailed BRD’s and functional specifications, working closely with other BA’s and developers to define system requirements.

The IT Business Analyst will:


• Work with key stakeholders and end users to understand their technical needs
• Gather, analyse and document solution requirements using Business Analysis techniques to capture both functional and technical requirements
• Work with developers and test teams to ensure requirements are interpreted correctly
• Work with client stakeholders to ensure that captured requirements are measurable, traceable and testable
• Review and prepare system documentation and specifications in accordance with methodology
• Manage changes to requirements through effective use of change control
• Report any systems issues to business users and project manager (s)
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously


• A 3rd Level Qualification
• 4+ Years Business Analysis experience
• Previous experience working within the SDLC
• Good financial services experience (Insurance a plus)
• Strong documentation experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Agile experience a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
