Description: Enterprise People are currently seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer for a leading Dublin based client.

Reporting to the Group IT Manager, the Senior Cyber Security Engineer will join the existing IT team who are responsible for the security and ongoing protection of our client’s complex applications and systems across a number of locations in Ireland.

The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with the internal IT Operations team and external security vendors to provide a comprehensive IT Security service in line with best practices and company procedures
• Protect systems by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources
• Implement security improvements by assessing current systems evaluate trends and anticipate requirements
• Help the infrastructure team to deliver on installs for AV, EDR, MFA, remediation etc
• Manage application and user security (user authentication, remote access security, security of cloud services etc)
• Help establish security best practices through the entire technical support process
• Manage penetration testing and remediation of security events
• Work closely with key vendors and 3rd party suppliers

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• A 3rd Level Qualification
• 6+ Years’ IT Security experience
• Good Cloud management experience (Azure a plus)
• Project Management experience
• Stamp 4 or EU Passport is essential
• IT Security Certification (CISSP, PenTest+ etc)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
