Description: Enterprise People are currently seeking a Business Data Analyst for a leading Dublin city-centre based client. (Hybrid)

Reporting to the IT Applications Manager, the Business Data Analyst will join the existing IT Applications team who are responsible for the delivery of a range of business & data (migration, modelling, analysis) related projects across our client’s group of companies.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Data analyst to work on a broad range of interesting projects, where your skills will be applied across a wide array of disciplines including organisational change, business transformation and data Analytics.

The Business Data Analyst will:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a liaison between business and IT for assigned projects
• Work closely with product teams to define data requirements for migration
• Gather, document and understand business requirements from multiple stakeholders
• Work with process owners, developers and PMs on IT projects to understand and enhance current systems and processes, both Agile and Waterfall
• Provide expert Data knowledge (data migration, data-insights & reporting)
• Develop strong and effective working relationships
• Create systems documentation through Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• A 3rd Level Qualification
• 6+ Years’ experience in a Business Analysis role with at least 3 years Data Analysis experience
• Strong SQL and/or ETL experience
• Sound BA experience on software development and/or data analytical projects
• Excellent MS Office experience
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong financial services experience
• Stamp 4 Visa or EU Passport essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
