Enterprise People are currently seeking a Cisco Engineer for a 6 Month Hybrid contract.

The Cisco Engineer’s role is to design, build, implement, and support data and voice network systems across the enterprise. This includes planning, configuring, installing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network services including local and wide area network connections, wireless networks, associated software, and communication links.

This is a Hybrid role, 2-3 days per week required on site in Kildare.

The Cisco Engineer will:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and analyse network and application performance across LANs, WANs, and wireless deployments
• Plan, manage, and implement any improvement, modification, or replacement of network infrastructure components
• Proactively manage network infrastructure/technologies, ensuring maximum availability and minimum downtime
• Ensure existing network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, load balancers, VPNs etc.) is maintained and enhanced

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ Years Cisco Networking experience
• Hands-on technical knowledge of network systems, protocols, and standards such as DNS, DHCP, 802.1x, TACACS+ & SMTP
• Sound technical knowledge of Cisco network hardware, including switches, routers, wireless access points
• CCNA Certification
• Exposure to Fortinet, SD-WAN, and/or Azure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
